A painting is first born in the mind of the artist, as a thought. In the process of painting the artist tries to make the transformation of the thought unto his canvas as much true and in sync with the original idea as possible.

The artist frequently uses metaphors to create the essence of moments which have left indelible marks on his soul. The apple and the flame, become the containers of myriad experiences and thoughts which trespass the realms of his mind, consistently. The finger print becomes the emblem of the ‘self’, the windings of which create a sense of ‘life’ and movement.
